Rashah McChesney - 1983 (member)

Is a photojournalist and investigative reporter working for the Morris New Service in Alaska.  She is a graduate of Iowa State University's Greenlee Journalism School where she studied visual communications and spent three years publishing the school's large daily newspaper as a reporter, photographer and editor.

She is as devoted to capturing reality through database and research-based reporting as she is to documenting human emotion -- often through photographing the mundane and forgotten habits of daily life.

She interned as a studio camera operator for Iowa Public Television and as a photographer at the Quad-City Times, before being hired as a reporter for the Times where she worked until she decided to move to Last Frontier.
